After posting the Google Plus Level UP Blogging Challenge, I’ve been getting lots of questions. Turns out even the most basic things are not really BASIC on Google Plus.
Even though I know I’ve added circles in Google Plus before, figuring out how to add them just took me ten minutes. That’s a lot of clicks for something so basic! I can see how someone new to Google Plus or struggling to use it happily might just get frustrated and quit.
Don’t quit! As our homeschool Google Plus expert Jimmie Lanley will tell you, Google Plus is essential to your blog moving forward.
You can do this!
Here’s how to add a new circle on Google Plus.
First, you hover with your mouse on the left sidebar where it says “Home” until you see the drop down button.
Next, second from the top is “People.” Click on that.
Third, you click on the top row where it says, “Your Circles.”
Fourth, on the next page, you can add a new circle by clicking on the circle shape with a plus sign in the middle.
Finally, you will see this window and can name your circle and start adding people to it. You will want to follow the people in our new #hsbloggers circle! <— Just click on this link and then click on each person’s face and add them to your own #hsbloggers or #homeschoolers circle!
